Robotics legend Dennis Hong delivers a TED talk at a NASA event on all his latest work at Virginia Tech.
It might just give you a better ‘contemporary context’ on the field if someone starts pitching a robotics-based venture to you.
It might also just give you some fresh tough questions that you can ask (he also mentions some problems that they haven’t cracked).
He goes through these projects at quite a pace, but thankfully it is all backed up with lots of video clips of actual robot demonstrations, rather than just relying exclusively upon ‘talk and chalk’ or PowePoint slideshows.
